Before sauna-bathing
- First of all, make shure that you have a plenty of time for yourself and enjoyment in sauna.
- Refrain from eating and drinking few hours before sauna.
- Undress, take off all the jewelry or glasses and prepare for sauna bathing. Start the ‘session’ by taking a shower. The main reason is in keeping the general hygiene, moistening the skin and removing any possible body odor from the sauna. Whether you will enter the sauna with a wet or a dry skin is a question of personal taste. Many sauna users prefer to feel the forming of sweat on their skin and thus enter a sauna with completely dry skin. On the other hand, some consider the sauna bathing much more pleasant if the skin is wet. After taking a shower, choose your way of bathing, listening to your senses.
