Today’s post is from Lori B. Rosen, who writes Spa’s Zodiac Therapy each month.![]()
The Harvest Moon is the full moon that falls closest to the Fall Equinox. Typically this moon falls in September, but this year it is in October. According to folklore, the Harvest Moon is also called the Wine Moon or Singing Moon. I think you know where I am going with this … That right! It’s time to put on your favorite tunes and enjoy your favorite wine with family/friends!
“Shine on, Shine on Harvest moon up in the sky”
Monday 9/28: Moon in Aquarius—this friendly vibration adds a touch of whimsy and good cheer to the people/projects in your life. Additionally, this moon is an excellent energy for games of chance, playing the lottery, and good luck.
Thursday 10/01: Pisces Moon slips in ushering in a tranquil vibration. Attune your soul with this peaceful energy to gain clarity and inner peace through prayer/meditation or dream work. Caution Pisces children: Brace yourselves for over-sensitivity and escapist tendencies during your moon.
Sunday 10/4: Harvest Moon/ Full Moon in Aries! Draw on this exciting energy to ignite your inner superhero. Our mission, if we choose to accept it, is to make a difference in our communities through service, initiation, and compassion.
Oh, Shine on, shine on, harvest moon
Up in the sky;
I ain’t had no lovin’
Since January, April, June or July.
Snow time ain’t no time to stay
Outdoors and spoon;
So shine on, shine on, harvest moon,
For me and my gal.
