Diamonds may be a girl’s best friend but they are no friend to the Earth, or to most of the people who mine for them.
Leonardo di Caprio introduced a large percentage of the world’s population to the concept of blood diamonds and sparked an interest in conflict-free diamonds. Now Sulusso, a just-launched online retailer of sustainable luxury goods, is taking it one step further selling not only eco- and people-friendly diamonds, but also gorgeous rings, earrings, and necklaces made from recycled metals and other environmentally responsible bits of bling.
Some of the designers we’ve featured in Spa (Lori Bonn, C5 Company) are selling their wares through Sulusso and founder Meghan Connolly Haupt is adding new designers every day.
