Feeling Sleepy? 19 Good Reasons to Nap

Sleep is good for you. It helps form memories, repair cells, and regulate hormones. So it makes sense that naps would be good for you, right? Right.
According to Sara Mednick, PhD, a sleep medicine researcher at the University of California at San Diego and author of Take a Nap! Change Your Life, a nap of 20 to 90 minutes before 4 pm will do all sorts of good stuff for your health. In fact, over at Best Health magazine, Mednick has compiled a list of 19 really good things a nap can do for you.
