Embedded in the Ötztal Alps, guests will find the AQUA DOME - Tirol Therme Längenfeld, with a 4**** superior hotel, thermal dome, open air thermal spring, sauna world, beauty and body treatment areas, fitness centre, VIP club, medical centre as well as the "Alpine Noah's Ark".
Impressive invigoration for body and soul
With its spacious design, the AQUA DOME fits ideally into the Ötztal mountain world. Its architecture features a conscious and direct integration with nature by means of the use of the elements wood, stone and light.
The thermal spring hall - the "Ursprung" ("Origins") thermal dome immediately surprises the visitor by giving the impression of entering into a cathedral. The imposing waterfall, both indoor pools with water temperatures of 34 und 36 Grad Celsius, rest rooms arranged like opera galleries, and the view through the glass into nature outside are nothing short of breathtaking. Solarium, heated areas, gastronomy and shops round off the range of facilities inside.
From the inside area, two channelled pools lead out into the open-air thermal spring to the illuminated and heated glass crystal. From there, one proceeds to the three floating "bowl pools" suspended on stilts. Being "enthroned" in these 8 m high bowls, varying from 12 to 16 m in diameter, unites bathers with nature and lets them forget their everyday lives completely. The bowls contain salt water, whirlpool and liquid sound with massage jets.
In a completely separate structure is the family and children area, the "Alpine Noah's Ark". This world of play and experience offers attractions such as a pool for paddling and young children, a junior pool, an outside pool with sandbanks and a 90 m long slide. In the three games rooms including a separate room with gaming consoles, large kids will enjoy being smaller again. On top of that, a climbing room promises anything but boredom. Yelling, jumping and laughing is the successful experience recipe for the children's time at the AQUA DOME.
Shut your eyes, relax your muscles and...
The centre for beauty and spa is known as "Morgentau" ("Morning Dew") and is dedicated to the concept of "purifying relaxation". This is where your body really gets pampered. The selection ranges from relaxing baths, hot stone therapy, massage and Shiatsu, through to facial care and foot care. Guests will find relaxation in the "Besinnung" ("Reflection") rest room or on the "Umsicht" ("View") terrace, from where they can view and virtually immerse themselves in the mountain world.
Hot headroom
Sauna lovers will get their money's worth in the "Gletscherglühen" ("Glowing Glacier") sauna world. The earth lodge sauna, hay loft sauna, loft sauna, the steam cathedral, and salt water grotto, through to the salt water steam bath all offer a multitude of opportunities for cleansing body and spirit alike. Herbal bath, ice pool and panorama whirlpool, round off the comprehensive range for wellness aficionados.
In the "Gipfelsturm" ("Peak Push") fitness centre, the AQUA DOME gives free rein to working the muscles of the bodily-conscious. This is where muscles are built up, weight reduced or more stamina achieved. The power, cardio and spinning area set the tone across the 500 m2 of fitness area. Fitness fans can also enjoy all types of aquatic fitness at the AQUA DOME. At the performance diagnosis unit, medical diagnoses and suitable forms of treatment are drawn up. Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Yoga, Taebo, spinning, jazz dance etc. round off the range of the individual well-being activity programme.
Living means free space
The 4**** superior hotel has 140 rooms, a lounge bar, restaurants, library and seminar rooms for up to 250 persons. The smallest units are the double rooms at 35 m2, which are equipped in timeless elegance and were furnished under the guidance of a Feng-Shui expert. All rooms offer a bath or shower, separate WC, hair dryer, bathrobe, telephone, radio, flat screen satellite TV, room safe, mini bar and balcony. There is full Internet connection. Every room looks out onto the magnificent mountain panorama.There is also a generously and brightly-structured private garage, which leads directly to the reception area of the hotel. A heated bathrobe passage leads underground directly from the hotel to the thermal facility, where there is a separate relaxation area for hotel guests.
